RECYCLED PAPER BEADS
This is a great kids craft activity for using up and recycling old paintings, magazines or newspaper. Making your own paper beads is a classic kids craft and one I remember making as a child.
MATERIALS:
- Paper (old paintings or magazines)
- Paper glue
- Paper straws
- Cord
HOW TO:
Draw and cut out long triangle wedge shapes from your paper. The longer the paper, the larger the bead will be.

Cover your strip of paper with glue, place a cut straw at the wider end and then roll up the paper. Younger children might need help with rolling the paper tight and keeping it straight. Let your beads dry and them make them into a necklace.

Happy crafting friends!
