MONSTER MASKS

These monster masks are super fun and easy to make, they are the perfect activity for a kids birthday party or Halloween. We have made them many times in the past at our kids craft classes and they are always a big hit. I love that the process is very open-ended, the children can get creative and make monsters, robots, animals or whatever their imagination can dream up!
MATERIALS:
- Brown paper bags (20x30cm approx.)
- Paper to collage
- Marker pens
- Craft glue
- Scissors
- Craft knife
- Extra items to decorate like feathers, yarn or stickers (optional)
HOW TO:
To cut the eye hole in the brown paper bags, insert a cutting mat or thick piece of cardboard into the bag and cut a rectangle shape at eye level using a craft knife. You may also need to trim a bit off the length of your bag depending on the size of the kids head.
Then create your monster face by sticking on paper shapes. I pre-cut the paper collage shapes making it easier for little kids just to start gluing. Older kids could cut their own shapes to collage.
