Collage Heart Necklace
We love collage projects and making your own jewellery is always fun. For more awesome collage craft ideas, check out the fun book Collage Workshop for Kids.
MATERIALS:
- Thick corrugated cardboard
- Paints
- Paint pens
- Stickers
- Cord
- Craft knife
HOW TO:
Begin by cutting out 5 concentric sized heart shapes from cardboard. To make this easier, I cut templates from paper first and then drew around them onto the cardboard. I then cut out the cardboard shapes using a sharp craft knife. Make holes in the largest heart where you will attach the cord. Glue the heart shapes together to make the base for your necklace.
Begin decorating your cardboard heart necklace using paints.
Once the paint had dried, we added more decorations using stickers and acrylic paint pens. Finally we added cord to make the heart into a necklace.
