RECYCLED CARDBOARD TREEHOUSE
I love the beautiful Magic Wood tree houses but the big ones are quite expensive so we thought we would make one ourselves using recycled cardboard!
MATERIALS:
- Thick corrugated cardboard
- Cardboard tubes
- Craft knife
- Hot glue gun
- String
- Wood pieces to decorate (optional)
- Brown paper (optional)
HOW TO:
Cut cardboard shapes for the base and different levels. We cut 2 of each shape and stuck them together to make them extra thick. We covered the top of the cardboard with brown paper to make a nice clean surface but this isn't necessary.
Glue the toilet rolls in position to make the legs for your different treehouse levels. I use a hot glue gun to attach the legs.
Add some ramps or steps between your levels. We also added a winch lift system!
We added some extra details like logs for a camp fire and wood chairs.
