PAPER PINWHEELS
We love a party and we love making all our own party decorations. These pinwheel decorations look really beautiful and are super easy to make. This project is inspired by the fantastic ART BAR BLOG, who is probably the queen of making pinwheel decorations and has made some amazing instillation covering a whole wall!
MATERIALS:
- Paper - we used a mix of A4 and A3
- Water colour paints
- Sticky tape
- String
HOW TO:
Fold your sheets of paper in a concertina formation. We used a mixture of A4 and A3 paper to make different size pinwheels. Make the folds across the shortest side of your paper. You will need 2 sheets of paper to make one pinwheel. If you want to make larger pinwheels, you will need larger sheets of paper.
Once your 2 sheets are folded, fold them in half to find the middle and tie your 2 sheets together using string. Then use sticky tape to join the edges of you paper together to form your pinwheel.
Now decorate your pinwheels using paint.
