Childrens craft activity to make a squid from recucled materials

Recently I had the pleasure of writing a guest blog post for THE CRAFT TRAIN. If you are not familiar with The Craft Train, it is a fantastic children's craft blog filled with lots of fun and easy craft activity ideas, I urge you to go check it out!

The project I created was Mr Squidy, an up-cycled squid made using old plastic bags, bottle tops and paper cups. I used this project as the starting point to discuss environmental pollution and plastic waste in the ocean with my children. To read the full blog post and see how Mr Squiddy is made visit THE CRAFT TRAIN.
