CARDBOARD PEACOCK
We love simple craft projects like this; it inexpensive, quick to set up and simple to make. All you need is cardboard, colouring materials and a craft knife or scissors.
MATERIALS:
- Thick cardboard - we used an old cardboard box
- Colouring materials - paints, wax crayons, pencil crayons or coloured markers
- Stickers (optional)
- Craft knife or scissors
HOW TO:
Begin by cutting out the peacock body, tail feathers and legs from thick cardboard. I use a craft knife and cutting mat to do this. Then cut slots into the top of the body, the bottom of the feathers and into the top of the feet.
Next decorate your peacock making pretty feather patterns. We use wax crayons and then added coloured dot stickers to add extra pattern to the tail feather. Finally assemble your peacock slotting the feathers and feet into the body.
