NATURE CROWNS

How to make beautiful nature crowns by Mini Mad Things

When we go out exploring in nature we love to collect a few treasures to use in our crafts. Today we collected bark, twigs and gum leaves to make these beautiful nature crowns. My little ones loved playing in their crowns, pretending to be woodland elves and the king of the forest.

MATERIALS:

  • Thick cardboard
  • Natural resources like bark, sticks or leaves
  • Glue - hot glue is the quickest but multi purpose craft glue works well, it just takes longer to dry
  • Paints (optional)

HOW TO:

Cut a cardboard base for your crown. Arrange your twigs, sticks or leaves and glue into position. We glues all the items onto our crowns while the cardboard was flat, them made it into a crown. We then painted our crowns but you can just leave them natural too, both look beautiful.
