YARN WRAPPED COLLAGE RAINBOWS
These super colourful and textural yarn wrapped collage rainbows are inspired by the awesome ART BAR BLOG. We kinda took 2 of Barbara's favourite projects; collage rainbows and yarn wrapped shapes and 'smooshed' them together! I love this kind of super simple kids craft project, it's easy to set up, doesn't require any expensive materials and everyone loves rainbows so it's a winner every time.
MATERIALS:
- Cardboard
- Craft knife or scissors
- Colouring materials which could include wax crayons, oil pastels, colouring pencils or marker pens
- Collage materials like colourful paper or fabric scraps
- Colourful yarn
- Multi purpose craft glue

HOW TO:
Cut out a rainbow shape from thick cardboard using a craft knife or scissors. Get creative with colouring materials and collage to decorate your beautiful rainbow.
Once the glue has dried, cut small slits around your rainbow shape. This allows you to secure the yarn in position around the edge of the rainbow. Securing the end of the yarn with tape, begin wrapping the rainbow with colourful yarn.
