Toilet roll castle kids crafts by Mini Mad Things

We love making crafts out of materials form our recycling box. This is a fun and easy project that is them fun to play with.

MATERIALS: Cardboard tubes (toilet roll and paper towel rolls), paper straws, paper to make flags, washi tape and glue.

DIRECTIONS: Begin by making 3 walls for your castle by joining 5 toilet tubes together. Initially we used washi tape to join or tubes but found this wasn't very secure and ended up gluing them together. Hot glue is easiest to use but PVA would also work of you have time to wait for them to dry.

Cut windows in your 4 castle turrets (longer paper towel rolls).

Assemble your 3 walls and turrets to make your castle shape.

Now make some flags for your castle and your are finished!
