Making robots is always a winner in our house, these cardboard collage robots are super fun and easy to make. If you attach the arms and lets using paper fasteners you could even make them into puppets.
MATERIALS:
- Cardboard
- Paints
- White paper to make the eyes and control panels
- Coloured corrugated card and shiny silver card (optional)
- Paddle pop sticks (optional)
- Craft glue
- Marker pens or paint markers.
- FREE robot bit printable activity sheet
HOW TO:
The first job is to get messy and paint all the cardboard. Once the paint is dried, we cut out lots of different shapes; think body shapes then lots of other shapes that could be arms, legs and heads. Print out the robot bits printable and cut out the parts.
Then get happy with the glue and build your robots!
We did this activity with friends at a play date at our house, everyone loved it, even the adults!
