Fun and easy to make pipe cleaner animals. We made snakes and lizards but you could make lots of other animals to, even little fairy people!
MATERIALS:
- Pipe cleaners
- Coloured yarn
- Scissors
HOW TO:
Construct the animal bodies using pipe cleaners. The snake is easiest to make, just twist 2 pipe cleaners together leaving a Y shape at the end to make a forked tongue. The Lizards are more complicated and take a few pipe cleaners to make the legs and body.
Begin twisting yarn around the pipe cleaners to make the animal bodies. To change colours, just knot on a new colour and continue wrapping. When you have filled the whole animal body with yarn, secure the end with a knot or glue to prevent the yarn from unraveling.
