Here at Mini Mad Things we love simple crafts that are easy to set up and cheap to create. To make these colourful birds all you need is paper plates, staples (or glue) and colouring materials. These would look great strung together as a mobile or garland.
MATERIALS:
- Paper plates
- Scissors
- Colouring materials like coloured markers, crayons or oil pastels
- Staples (or glue)
HOW TO:
Draw the outline of the bird shape onto the paper plate and cut it out.
Before folding and stapling your bird, decorate both sides using coloured markers, pastels or crayons. We decorated our birds in pretty rainbow patterns. Once the birds are decorated, fold in half, staple (or glue) together and then fold the wings down.
