Mini Cork Faries
We love craft projects that also inspire imaginative play. We made this family of fairies to live in a cardboard box fairy castle we had made a while back. All you need is corks, wooden beads for the head, paper or fabric for wings and glue; all the other decorations are optional, just use what your have available.
MATERIALS:
- Corks
- Round wooden beads
- Paper or fabric for wings
- Hot glue
- Pom poms (optional)
- Yarn (optional)
- Faux flowers (optional)
- Coloured markers or paint pens to decorate
HOW TO:
Glue round wooden beads to the cords to make the fairies heads, we used hot glue to do this as it's quick and easy but PVA craft glue would work too, it would just take more time to dry. Cut wing shapes from paper or fabric and glue onto the back for wings. The get creative and add any other decorations you like to your little fairy family.
