DIY Gift Bags
We love simple, up-cycled crafts here at Mini Mad Things. Old paper grocery bags make a great canvas for simple art projects and the result is pretty, personalised gift bags perfect for holiday season giving or birthday presents.
There really are no rules here, just use what ever art supplies you have available; paints, crayons, collage materials, fabric scraps or yarn. We used lots of old paintings that we cut up to make pretty collage materials.
MATERIALS:
- Paper grocery bags
- Art materials including paints, crayons, coloured paper, yarn, fabric scraps, stickers or old paintings
- Glue
HOW TO:
Simply lay out a range of art supplies and let your little ones get creative. If you want to make festive bags maybe choose Christmas colours for your collage materials. We also made lots of kirigami snowflakes to add to our bags.

Here at Mini Mad Things, when I'm not busy crafting up a storm with my little ones, I also run a small online shop selling a range of eco-friendly kids ART SUPPLIES, CRAFT BOXES and beautiful art activity BOOKS. All the products that I sell are tried and tested by my awesome team of rigorous quality control experts (my little ones) and we only sell items that we love!
