3D Shape building
Since learning about 3D shapes at school my 6 yr old was keen to have a go building his own 3D shapes. This simple STEM activity is very cheap and easy to set up, all you need are some paper straws and pipe cleaners.
MATERIALS:
- Paper straws
- Pipe cleaners
- Scissors
HOW TO:
Cut up the pipe cleaners into 4cm lengths, these will become the corners for your shapes and are used to join the straws together. We cut our paper straws into 3 different lengths; 5cm, 7cm and 10cm. Now begin building your shapes.
