DINOSAUR HEAD COSTUME

Cardboard dinosaur costume

Even though we have a LOT of fancy dress costumes in our house, we still love making cool fancy dress costumes out of cardboard and recycled household rubbish. The inspiration for this one came from my favourite children's craft blog HANDY WITH SCISSORS.

MATERIALS: 2 cardboard boxes, 2 bottle tops or jam jar lids, paint, glue, craft knife.

TUTORIAL: Secure the top and bottom of your larger box with tape. Cut zig zag teeth shapes around 3 sides of your box.

Stick your smaller box on top at the back to make the head shape. Then begin to decorate with paint.
