LARGE LETTERS

Kids painted large letters

This is a really simple art project made more fun by super-sizing the letters! We created the word LOVE, but you could try making your little ones name, a birthday banner or an inspiring word.

MATERIALS:

  • Cardboard - we used an old cardboard box
  • Craft knife and cutting mat
  • Paints
  • Collage materials
  • Glue

HOW TO:

Begin by cutting out the large letters from cardboard. I used a craft knife and cutting mat to do this. The bigger the letters the better!

Set out a range of paints with collage materials and let your little ones get creative. First we painted our letters, once the paint was dried, we added colourful collage materials.

This craft activity features in Twinkl’s Mother’s and Other’s Day: Including Others this Mother’s Day blog.
